Biden Speaks On Woman’s Healthcare During Tampa Visit

It was just another day on the campaign trail. The energy was palpable, the audience was eager, and President Biden was in full swing gaffe mode. The topic of the day was Florid’s six-week abortion ban in Tampa, due to come into force on May 1st.

While speaking Biden attempted to toss a few darts in the direction of his predecessor, former President Donald Trump. However, Biden ended up telling on himself.

Biden denounced Trump vehemently for his abortion stance, a sentiment shared by many in the crowd. Then, in what seemed like a moment of unintentional honesty, Biden blurted out, “I don’t know why we’re surprised by Trump. How many times does he have to prove we can’t be trusted?” The audience’s laughter rang out as Biden, seemingly unaware of the mishap, continued with his remarks.

This gaffe quickly rippled through the social media realm, particularly among conservative commentators. What was initially an embarrassing moment for Biden evolved into a gleeful opportunity for conservatives, who couldn’t help but agree with the President’s accidental self-assessment.

Babylon Bee CEO, Seth Dillon, didn’t hold back as he gleefully shared the clip, emphasizing that it was “not satire.” Chiming in with humor, OutKick contributor Tomi Lahren quipped, “Well even a blind squirrel finds a nut.” Meanwhile, GOP strategist Chris LaCivita predicted the replay-worthy nature of Biden’s gaffe. “You’ll see this again and again and again…..” he wrote.

What began as a political gaffe started to morph into a larger commentary on the perceived trustworthiness of the President. Radio host Tony Kinnett humorously suggested that Biden was on track to endorse Trump at this rate. Meanwhile, Author Edward Dowd painted a less than flattering picture of the current Presidency. He likened Biden to a puppet and suggested that his supporters possessed the memory of goldfish, albeit without meaning to offend any goldfish.

GOP Rapid Response Director Jake Schneider was quick to affirm Biden’s misplaced statement. “Agreed, Joe — you can’t be trusted!” he exclaimed.
