Recently, Trump attorney Alina Habba spoke at Turning Points USA’s 2023 AmericaFest, and during her speech, she issued a stark warning.
During her remarks, Habba noted that Trump was under the Presidential Records Act, which allows him to handle any documentation regardless of security classification. Then, she emphasized that the documents found in Biden’s possession were from when he was vice president.
“Because he wasn’t president when he took his boxes in six different locations. In Chinatown. In his car next to his son, who’s doing God knows what with God knows who,” she said. But that is what they do. They hide what they’ve done by going after Trump. Look at the shiny ball, everybody. Don’t look at us.”
Habba continued: “That’s what they do. They hide what they’ve done by going after Trump. Well, they’ve got one year and then we’re going to be looking at them. Deep and hard.”
That’s when she told the crowd, “I’ll tell you right now, if I’m in Washington, I’ll be relentless too.”
Habba also blasted special counsel Jack Smith over his urgency during an interview.
“There is some sort of real sense of urgency,” Habba said in an interview highlighted by Mediaite. “The only urgency that I can see is that there is an election in November 2024 and they can’t beat him.”
