Since the Senate Border Bill that tied in funding for Israel and Ukraine failed, the Senate is scrambling to get something passed.
Senator Mike Lee warned about what the uni party in the Senate was doing.
The Senate is voting right now on my motion to table the procedural device Chuck Schumer is using to prevent the Senate from considering amendments to the Ukraine bill. I’m going to list just a few of the amendments he’s trying to kill—without even a vote,” he wrote. “Senator Rubio has an amendment to place illegal immigrants convicted of DUI into expedited removal proceedings. Senator Tuberville has an amendment to end catch and release. He also has an amendment to stop categorical immigration parole.”
“I have amendments to close the loopholes in our asylum laws and to require proof of citizenship to vote,” he added along with several others.

So far several Republican Senators have voted to continue to move the bill forward in a procedural vote.

As the foreign aid bill is being moved forward Republican Senator JD Vance found something very sneaky beuried in the bill.
“Buried in the bill’s text is an impeachment time bomb for the next Trump presidency if he tries to stop funding the war in Ukraine,” Vance wrote.
Vance wrote that the bil includes a massive amount of funding that would not expire until September 30, 2025. Meaning that is would force the next President to spend the aid.
