Trump Admin Plans To Cut Funding To Family-Planning Grants Says Multiple Reports

Here we go again—Trump does something that conservatives have been begging Republicans in Congress to do for decades, and suddenly the media acts like it’s a five-alarm fire. According to a new Wall Street Journal report, the Trump administration is finally hitting pause on the taxpayer gravy train to one of the left’s sacred cows: Planned Parenthood.

And not just for the usual reasons, though those alone would be more than enough. This time, the administration is digging into whether tens of millions in federal “family-planning” dollars are being funneled into, wait for it—diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Because apparently even abortion providers need to be “equitable” while they’re eliminating future generations.

The groups on the chopping block, including several Planned Parenthood affiliates, were expecting to cash in on about $120 million this year alone. But instead of blindly rubber-stamping the payout like it’s just another Tuesday in D.C., the Trump team is asking the one question you’re never supposed to ask in government: Where exactly is this money going? And that question has the left absolutely panicked. Which, let’s be honest, tells you everything you need to know.

Charlie Kirk didn’t mince words when he brought the receipts: between 2019 and 2021, Planned Parenthood performed over 1.1 million abortions while raking in about $1.78 billion in federal funding. That’s $592 million per year in taxpayer dollars—almost half their entire revenue. And we’re supposed to believe none of that money supports abortions? Come on. The “fungibility” of money isn’t some right-wing conspiracy theory—it’s Economics 101. If you’re getting half your budget from Uncle Sam, then guess what? That frees up your other dollars to fund whatever grisly “healthcare services” you want. It’s a shell game, and they’ve been playing it for years.

Now Trump is saying, “Enough.” Not only is he going after the funding that props up what Kirk rightly calls “murder mills,” he’s also aiming a spotlight at the DEI industrial complex that has infected nearly every institution in this country—including, apparently, the ones ending lives under the banner of “choice.” Trump already signed an executive order on Day One to begin gutting DEI from the federal government. This move is just phase two. It turns out when you put someone in charge who doesn’t care about the cocktail circuit in Georgetown or the next MSNBC hit piece, actual accountability starts happening.

And here’s the kicker: the Department of Health and Human Services isn’t just freezing the money. They’re actively investigating whether Planned Parenthood and other groups used federal grants to bankroll DEI programs. If the answer is yes, that money could be pulled entirely or redirected to actual family-planning organizations that don’t advocate for abortion or promote radical gender ideologies. Imagine that—federal dollars going to support families instead of tearing them apart.

Of course, the left is already gearing up to paint this as some sort of attack on “women’s health,” because that’s the only card they know how to play. But let’s be clear: this isn’t about restricting access to healthcare. It’s about stopping the use of taxpayer dollars to fund abortions, social engineering, and ideological indoctrination under the paper-thin guise of “reproductive health.”

And let’s not ignore the fact that Planned Parenthood has been bragging publicly about offering so-called “gender-affirming treatments” too. So yes, it’s worth asking whether our tax dollars are being used to push controversial procedures on minors. The American people deserve transparency, and they certainly deserve a choice in where their money is going.

Trump and his team are doing what the Republican establishment has promised for years but never delivered. He’s showing that you can actually govern with conservative principles instead of just fundraising off of them. Cutting off the money supply to Planned Parenthood is just the beginning. If you want to clean house in Washington, you start with the budgets. And Trump knows exactly where to find the bloat, the waste, and the rot. Finally, someone’s doing something about it.
