State Department To Cancel Student Visas Linked To Protests

Well, well, well—look who’s finally enforcing immigration laws again. The State Department just yanked the visa of a foreign student who decided it was a great idea to take part in pro-Hamas protests on a U.S. college campus. This comes after President Trump made it crystal clear: if you’re a foreign student in America and you’re out there waving Hamas flags and chanting for jihad, you can pack your bags. Because under Trump, we actually believe in national security, not handing out student visas like participation trophies.

The Biden administration, of course, spent four years pretending these kinds of radical demonstrations weren’t happening—despite Jewish students being harassed, campuses being vandalized, and antisemitic rhetoric running rampant. Biden’s team reviewed over 100,000 student visas, and yet, somehow, not a single one was revoked. Not one. Apparently, as long as you were bashing Israel or celebrating a terror group, you got a free pass under the Democrats.

But now? The Trump administration isn’t playing around. Upon taking office, Trump wasted no time in signing an executive order to combat antisemitism and hold these foreign agitators accountable. And he wasn’t vague about it either. He put them all on notice: You support Hamas? You lose your visa. You disrupt our campuses with pro-jihadist nonsense? You’re getting deported. It’s really not that complicated.

And just in case anyone thought this was a one-off, the new Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, is rolling out an AI-driven initiative called “Catch and Revoke” to track and cancel the visas of foreign students who show support for designated terror groups. In other words, if you’re an international student and you think Twitter—or, sorry, X—is a good place to broadcast your love for Hamas, you just volunteered for a one-way trip home.

Let’s be real: this shouldn’t even be a debate. Supporting designated terrorist organizations is a national security threat. It’s not a “free speech issue,” no matter how much the radical left and their media allies try to spin it. No foreign student has a right to be here. If you’re on a visa, you’re a guest in this country, and if you start advocating for groups that murder innocent civilians, you don’t get to stay. End of story.

And yet, somehow, the usual suspects on the left will try to turn this into some kind of human rights crisis. They’ll argue that deporting people for openly supporting terrorists is an “overreach” or “authoritarian.” Meanwhile, they had no problem when Biden’s DHS was throwing pro-life activists in jail for praying outside abortion clinics. Funny how that works.

What we’re seeing now is a much-needed course correction after four years of weakness. Trump is making it clear that this country isn’t going to tolerate foreign radicals using our universities as recruitment centers for extremist movements. And for the first time in a long time, Jewish students on American campuses might actually feel safe again.

So if you’re an international student thinking about getting involved in these so-called “protests,” here’s a free piece of advice: book a return ticket now. Because under Trump, your student visa doesn’t come with a license to support terrorism.
