Recently, former President Trump spoke at the National Association of Black Journalists Conference, and it created a stir.
But what the former president was able to do was masterful.
He gave the press an aneurysm and pulled the rug out from Kamala.
How?
He knocked her right out of the news cycle.
The event created so much controversy that libs forced the resignation of Karen Attiah, an editor and columnist for The Washington Post and co-chair of the NABJ convention, in protest.
The event had a terrible start, beginning an hour late due to technical difficulties with the audio equipment, contrary to rumors that Trump was delaying to avoid live fact-checking. During the session, Trump faced a barrage of questions, notably from ABC News’ Rachel Scott, who viciously asked about his attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris, particularly the narrative surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hires. Despite the challenging questions, Trump remained unfazed, anticipating the criticisms.
Trump’s response highlighted his familiarity with the debate, contrasting Harris’ selection by Biden, who had openly stated in 2020 that he chose her because she was Black. Trump also addressed accusations against Black district attorneys, whom he blamed for increasing crime rates in cities, a topic that ignited further debate among the attendees.
ABC’s Rachel Scott opens her interview with President Trump at the NABJ conference by calling him a racist for criticizing black politicians and journalists.

What’s interesting about Scott is that she was a bully to Trump but when Pelosi mocked her she whimpered.
The nerve to complain about @realDonaldTrump‘s justifiable response to a mad, angry and hostile @ABC reporter Rachel Scott during the National Association of Black Journalists conference. But not one damn word from @rachelvscott or Black journalists when Nancy Pelosi addressed… pic.twitter.com/UTlQfqryDc

The NABJ has a tradition of inviting presidential candidates to its annual conference, but Trump’s participation caused significant division within the group. Historically, President Biden addressed a virtual conference between the NABJ and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) in 2020, while Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama spoke at joint or unity conferences involving the NABJ in previous years.
NABJ President Ken Lemon explained that invitations were extended to both presidential candidates, but only Trump showed up.
Additionally there are now calls from the media for Kamala to start getting serious.
There’s total silence from the media on interviewing Kamala Harris.
They want to protect her by not putting her on without a teleprompter.

One reason why journalists are so furious about the event is because he “broke into the news cycle.”
He sure did break into the news cycle… https://t.co/gAXXtyGNyo
