Obama Lunch With Biden Gets More Attention Than Joe Hoped

According to reports from the Washington Post, Axios, and NBC News, former President Barack Obama had a meeting with Biden.

The reports state that Obama has “deep concern” about former President Trump’s “political strength.”

The Washington Post reported that Obama got “animated” while speaking with Biden and wanted him to decentralize his campaign.

Why is Obama “animated?”

Below is data from CNN:

During an appearance on “Meet The Press” Biden’s deputy campaign manager Quentin Fulks said that Obama and Biden’s team are “united” in opposing Trump.

“We’re going to continue to do what we need to do in order to be competitive and in order to make sure we’re growing the infrastructure that we need to win,” Fulks said. “President Obama and President Biden talk frequently, as do the campaign and former operatives from President Biden’s administration and his campaign.”

Fulks also said, “The president has been very clear that the experience he got as VP serving with President Obama has been critical to the experience that he brings to the job and what he’s been able to accomplish. But we’re united in the fact that we have to do everything we can to push back on Donald Trump and the threat that he poses to democracy.”

That last line by Fulks is another reason why Obama is “animated.” Since Biden’s speech at Valley Forge, he only cast Trump as the opposition. Biden has been president for three years, he isn’t talking about the great things he’s done for this country. About a year from a major election, all Biden is doing is talking about how bad of a person Trump is.

That’s not a good place to start. That’s what has people very concerned.

Below is a great analysis.
