Well, it looks like the Kardashian kids are already learning what it’s like to get censored in the name of “keeping the peace.” Kim Kardashian reportedly pulled down her son Saint’s YouTube channel after he shared a couple of unflattering posts about Vice President Kamala Harris.
The 8-year-old posted a meme showing Harris on the bottom of a cartoon shoe with the caption, “I stepped in s***,” which was apparently enough for Kim to decide it was time to pull the plug on Saint’s digital soapbox—just a week before Election Day.
Social media wasn’t exactly thrilled with Kim’s decision, with Twitter users quickly noting how Saint seemed to be following in his father Kanye’s politically outspoken footsteps. Fans posted supportive comments like, “Smart like his father” and “Like father like son,” with others saying Kanye must be “so proud” to see his son take an early interest in politics.
But not everyone was applauding Kim’s move to delete the channel; one user accused her of “censorship,” questioning why even a mild critique of Harris would be grounds for a takedown, saying, “Doesn’t everyone expose Kamala? What’s wrong with it?”
Kim, however, had her reasons—or rather, a contract. Back in September, she made Saint agree to a “no drama” policy for his YouTube content, which included showing all videos to his mom before posting and avoiding any “personal information.”
So, when Saint went rogue with the VP memes, he effectively breached his little YouTube contract. The contract even gave Kim full control to delete his content “for any reason.” Looks like the family’s first major YouTube lesson: Stay away from politics if you want to keep your channel!

In true Kardashian style, Kim posted the contract on Instagram with a lighthearted caption, “Saint signed a solid contract for this YouTube Channel… he better not breach.” Given her ties to both major parties—she’s worked with Trump on criminal justice reform and recently had a White House meeting with Harris—you could say Kim is walking a fine line.

While she once joked on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that Trump “doesn’t like [her] very much,” she still praised him for passing the First Step Act, which led to significant progress in prison reform. Meanwhile, her meeting with Harris focused on Biden’s clemency efforts, adding a bipartisan element to her advocacy work.
It’s safe to say Saint’s short-lived foray into political commentary isn’t likely to be his last, especially with Kanye’s influence in the mix. But for now, he might have to stick to sports highlights or prank videos if he wants to keep his YouTube career intact. As for Kim, she’s sending a clear message: there’s only room for one Kardashian-West in the public arena right now, and at least until Election Day, it’s not going to be 8-year-old Saint.
