The are growing questions about how US Secret Service head Kimberly Cheatle ascended to her position and her policies since taking over in light of the attempt assination of former President Donald Trump.
Cheatle has been deficient and said she wouldn’t step. Biden hasn’t committed to holding anyone accountable and there may be a strong reason why.
Recent reports indicate that First Lady Jill Biden and her top advisor played a significant role in Cheatle’s appointment.
There may also be reason to believe that Biden may not even know who is running the Secret Service.
“Is it acceptable that you have still not heard, at least publicly, from the Secret Service Director?”
BIDEN: “Oh, I’ve heard from him.”

At the heart of the controversy is Kimberly Cheatle, the Director of the Secret Service. Following the security discrepancies, calls for her resignation are growing louder. The question remains, how did she land her position? Insight reveals her close association with Jill Biden was instrumental.
Sources close to the Biden family, who have known Cheatle since the Obama-Biden administration, stated that she was considered favorably by Jill Biden and her top aides, including advisor Anthony Bernal. An inside source revealed that Bernal, despite having no background in national security or law enforcement, advocated for Cheatle’s appointment.
This decision has stirred controversy.
Cheatle is known for advocating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and has aimed to increase female representation in the Secret Service to 30 percent by 2030. However, this initiative has sparked debates about whether gender should be prioritized over capability, especially in such a physically demanding role.

Despite the assassination attempt and public calls for her resignation, Cheatle has refused to step down. Even after the incident, she conducted an interview condemning the assassination attempt but did not offer a resignation.
This situation has been labeled the most significant Secret Service failure since the shooting of Ronald Reagan. Yet, no one from the current administration is taking responsibility. Despite these circumstances, Alejandro Mayorkas, the DHS Secretary, has expressed confidence in Cheatle. The logic behind this decision is being widely questioned.
