Another day, another example of leftist activists working harder to protect violent criminals than American citizens.
This time, a major ICE operation in Aurora, Colorado, was sabotaged before it even got off the ground, thanks to a leak that warned Venezuelan gang members to scatter before federal agents could get to them. And just like that, the opportunity to take more than 100 dangerous criminals off the streets turned into a bust, with only 30 arrests—one of whom was a Tren de Aragua gang member. You’d think that would be a wake-up call for some people, but instead, we got activists cheering as ICE agents were left searching through empty buildings.
Border czar Tom Homan, as you might imagine, is not amused. He made it abundantly clear that this kind of interference won’t be tolerated, and if these activists keep it up, the Department of Justice will be knocking on their doors next. And he’s right. This isn’t some abstract policy debate—this is about public safety. These aren’t just “undocumented immigrants” looking for work; we’re talking about members of one of the most violent gangs in the Western Hemisphere, criminals who specialize in extortion, kidnapping, and murder.
But instead of celebrating a coordinated effort to clean up their city, these activists were out there with megaphones, screaming obscenities at law enforcement and encouraging gang members to hide. Because apparently, protecting violent criminals is now a core part of the leftist agenda.
Aurora City Council member Danielle Jurinsky had the right attitude. She pointed out that when ICE agents did get to speak with residents, they were respectful, professional, and simply trying to figure out who was living in these communities. And guess what? The people who actually answered the door had no problem with it. But the activists and their enablers in government? They’d rather see their communities overrun by criminal elements than admit that maybe, just maybe, President Trump’s approach to immigration makes sense.
Homan made another critical point: local officials who refuse to cooperate with these operations need to get out of the way. If they’re not willing to help keep their communities safe, fine—but actively interfering with law enforcement? That’s a whole different story. When activists go around warning criminals, moving them to new locations, and blocking ICE from doing its job, they’re not “helping migrants”—they’re aiding and abetting criminal activity. And that, last time I checked, is illegal.
BREAKING: Someone leaked ICE’s raid plan to the Tren de Aragua gang before the operation in Aurora, CO.
Border Czar Tom Homan is now working with the DOJ to track down and prosecute the leaker.

And let’s not forget the real problem here: the sheer number of violent criminals who have flooded across the border, thanks to weak policies and open-border insanity from previous administrations. Since Trump took office, ICE has arrested nearly 12,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records. That’s not an accident—that’s the direct result of a president who actually cares about public safety and isn’t afraid to do something about it.
But let’s be honest—the left doesn’t actually want this problem solved. They’d rather scream about “compassion” and “human rights” while ignoring the fact that the very people they’re protecting are the same ones terrorizing communities. The reality is simple: America cannot afford to let criminals dictate the law.
Tom Homan on border progress: “The numbers are down significantly… between the ports of entry, we’re down closer to 87%… as we lock that border down, we’re taking money out of the pockets of the criminal cartels.”

Homan, ICE, and every other law enforcement agency involved in this operation are doing exactly what they should be—removing dangerous people before they can do more harm. And if a few activists find themselves in legal trouble for obstruction? Well, maybe they should’ve thought about that before they decided to side with gang members over law-abiding Americans.
