Ah, nothing says “sore loser” quite like a TikTok rant from a politician’s offspring. Hope Walz, the 23-year-old daughter of failed Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz, has taken to social media to unleash her “post-election thoughts” on why America simply doesn’t deserve Kamala Harris or her dad. Spoiler alert: the problem is you, dear voter.
Hope’s video quickly went viral, racking up nearly a million views on X (formerly Twitter). In it, she laments the American electorate’s choice of President-elect Donald Trump and Senator JD Vance over the Harris-Walz ticket, claiming she’s reached “a point of anger” with voters. “This country does not deserve Kamala Harris,” she declared, suggesting the VP should abandon us altogether to “live her best life.” Because, apparently, the best way to handle electoral rejection is to pack up and leave.
Hope wasn’t done. She also took the opportunity to lecture America on its supposed moral failings, claiming only black women “delivered this election” while the rest of the country let them down. Heartfelt? Maybe. Condescending? Absolutely. According to Hope, the rest of us should spend the next four years apologizing and trying to “do better.”
“The only people that delivered this election were black women, and we failed them,” Hope continued. “And it’s just heartbreaking, and we got to do whatever we can to support them and support our people through these next four years.”
But it wouldn’t be a true Hope Walz rant without some personal digs. She ridiculed Trump and Vance, saying their existence alone is punishment enough.“These people have to live in their own skin, as in JD Vance and Donald Trump have to be JD Vance and Donald Trump and that is not a punishment I’d wish upon anybody but those two individuals,” she said.
“I wouldn’t wish being JD Vance or Donald Trump on anyone—except them,” she quipped, as though this was some mic-drop moment. Perhaps she’s still smarting from her father’s disastrous debate performance against Vance, where even left-leaning outlets admitted Walz got schooled.

Of course, this isn’t Hope’s first foray into controversial commentary. During the 2020 BLM riots, she allegedly leaked National Guard movements to aid protesters, some of whom turned violent. That kind of activism might explain why she feels so “grateful” to be on the “side of love and hope and joy and progress.” Because nothing says “progress” like burning cities and undermining public safety.

The real takeaway here is how tone-deaf and entitled this tirade is. Instead of reflecting on why voters rejected her father and Harris, Hope has opted to blame the electorate, sneer at the winners, and pat herself on the back for her moral superiority. It’s a masterclass in what’s wrong with the left: a complete inability to engage with the American people without talking down to them.
