Chaos once again spilled onto the streets of Minnesota on Tuesday as federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents encountered open resistance during an enforcement action in a residential neighborhood. What should have been a routine operation instead devolved into confrontations with activists intent on obstructing federal law enforcement, resulting in dozens of arrests and one especially revealing incident that quickly went viral.
Video circulating online shows an unidentified woman using her vehicle to deliberately interfere with ICE agents as they attempted to carry out their duties. According to officials, the woman positioned her car in a way that wedged agents between vehicles, effectively using the sedan as a physical barrier. The footage captures agents repeatedly ordering her to move, gesturing clearly and audibly instructing her to continue driving forward.
She did not comply.
Instead, the woman curses, turns toward bystanders filming the encounter, and announces that agents are threatening to break her window if she does not move. In doing so, she effectively confirms that she heard and understood the lawful order. The video further undermines later claims of immobility, as the street ahead of her appears unobstructed. Agitators nearby can be heard urging her to “go, go, go,” reinforcing the obvious reality that she could have complied at any time.

When an agent attempts to open the driver’s door, the woman suddenly lurches the vehicle forward a few feet before stopping again. That moment appears decisive. Agents then break the passenger-side window, open the driver’s door, and remove her from the vehicle. She is quickly restrained and handcuffed amid shouting from the surrounding crowd.
Only after her removal does a new narrative emerge. The woman begins claiming she is disabled, autistic, and paralyzed by fear due to prior trauma with police, asserting that she was attempting to reach a doctor’s appointment. These claims, however, were not raised during repeated commands to move and have not been independently verified. No officials have confirmed her medical status, and no immediate documentation was presented at the scene.

The incident arrives less than a week after the fatal confrontation involving Renee Good, who used similar tactics to obstruct ICE agents and was killed after striking an agent with her vehicle. That context makes the decision to again use a car to impede officers all the more striking.
ICE leadership has made its position clear. Acting Executive Associate Director Marcos Charles told Fox News that agents will continue to arrest anyone who interferes with enforcement actions, noting that approximately 60 individuals have already been taken into custody for obstruction or assault. The message is unmistakable: federal law enforcement will not be deterred by intimidation, crowd theatrics, or after-the-fact excuses.
