Trump Rallies In Texas As Hecklers Interrupt Speech

President Donald Trump took the stage in Texas on Wednesday night. The plan was a smooth rally for Senate candidate Ken Paxton. Instead, the event was interrupted multiple times by hecklers.

According to Fox News, about twelve people disrupted the speech within the first 45 minutes. They shouted from the crowd while the President was speaking. Security had to step in to remove some of the protesters. The location was the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio. This city is led by a Democrat. Trump told the packed house that the interruptions were no accident.

Trump did not let the noise stop his message. He used the moments to claim the protesters were paid. He pointed out the matching shirts and signs in the crowd. It is a known fact that numerous demonstrators receive payment. Trump asked the audience. He noted the high quality of the materials they held. “Because you come in and, you know, they’ll have like this perfect shirt on, made by the best printer money can buy,” he said. He characterized the placards as flawless, identical in printing, and costly.

According to the Washington Examiner, the President blamed “enemies of our nation” for the costs. He told the crowd, “They’re paid by enemies of our nation. No, I’m telling you, they pay them for this.” He asked any paid protesters to raise their hands and leave. The crowd chanted “USA” to drown out the noise. Trump targeted the “really bad-looking people” in the mix. The rally focused on the tight race for the Texas Senate seat. Republican nominee Ken Paxton faces Democrat James Talarico. Polling shows the race is razor-thin with weeks to go.

Trump called Talarico a “travesty” who would destroy the state’s legacy. He warned that a win for the Democrat could open the borders. “If they get in, they will open your borders and let the entire world pour into our country like they did before,” Trump said. He insisted the vote is a “killer in Congress” because of the close majority.

Trump also brought Paxton on stage to praise his record. The Attorney General was hailed as the finest in Texas history. According to him, Paxton represents the sole barrier preventing you from a migrant takeover.

The event also featured Marie Vega, an “angel mom.” She spoke about her son, Javier “Harvey” Vega Jr., who was murdered by illegal immigrants. She recounted how her son was shot while trying to protect the family. Just as she mentioned the Second Amendment, a commotion started in the crowd. She had to pause her story for about a minute. The New York Post reported that some protesters shouted her down.

Trump also shared some light moments with the crowd. He joked about his thinning hair and said he was “depressed” about it. He told the audience he was “not happy” with how his hair looked from the back. He also announced a financial win for seniors. More than 20 million Medicare beneficiaries will get checks beginning Thursday. This includes 1.4 million people in Texas who will get nearly $100 each.

The President framed the election as a choice between safety and chaos. He warned that a Democratic sweep could lead to a “1929-style economic depression.” The night ended with the crowd still chanting and the race still wide open.
