Judge Goes Viral For His Treatment Of IT Worker

It’s the kind of moment that probably wasn’t supposed to leave the courtroom—but once it did, it spread fast, and for obvious reasons.

A Harris County judge found himself at the center of a viral clip after a routine IT assist turned into a tense and uncomfortable exchange. The issue itself was minor—an apparent audio glitch during proceedings—but the reaction to it is what’s drawing attention.

In the video, the technician approaches the bench and calmly walks through the fix, confirming the judge had connected audio correctly. Within moments, he signals that everything appears to be working and calls it a “false alarm.” It’s the kind of offhand comment you’d expect in a quick troubleshooting situation—low stakes, problem solved.

But Judge Nathan Milliron didn’t see it that way.

He immediately pushed back, insisting the issue had been real. When the technician lightly followed up with “false negative,” apparently trying to keep things relaxed, the tone shifted sharply. The judge cut him off, made clear he wasn’t interested in any levity, and ordered him out of the courtroom.

“Get out of my courtroom,” he said, ending the interaction on a blunt note.

What followed, caught on camera, only added to the impression. After the technician left, Milliron, visibly irritated, asked for the worker’s supervisor and vented his frustration out loud, using language that suggested the moment had gotten under his skin more than the situation warranted.

The clip has since racked up millions of views, with much of the reaction focusing less on the technical issue and more on demeanor. The technician is described by colleagues as reliable and well-liked—someone who regularly assists court staff without issue. That contrast has fueled much of the criticism online, where viewers questioned the judge’s handling of a routine interaction.

Milliron, who has been on the bench since early 2025, is not directly subject to discipline from local court administrators due to his elected position. Still, the response hasn’t gone entirely unaddressed. Administrative Judge Rabeea Collier issued a statement emphasizing expectations of professionalism and respect within the court system, while noting that formal processes exist to review concerns about judicial conduct.
