An email from a student reached Principal Tadd Ragan two days early. The student said they were planning the protest. Staff had time to stop it or call parents. They chose to let it happen instead. This violated clear district rules.
Policy says the school must call parents when a child is gone. It also says access to buildings must be limited. Staff ignored these rules to support the protest. They put politics ahead of safety protocols.
