ICE Facility Attacked In Texas

The last 48 hours have put a brutal spotlight on two threads of the same story: the political Left’s confused defense of radical movements and the rising wave of violence against American law enforcement.

On his Tuesday show, Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow zeroed in on the Left’s inconsistent narrative about Antifa following the assassination of Charlie Kirk. As Marlow pointed out, progressives are trying to argue two things at once: that Kirk’s killer wasn’t Antifa, and that Antifa doesn’t even exist. You can’t have it both ways. Either the ideology is real and dangerous, or it’s imaginary and irrelevant. But as with so many left-wing talking points, logic is optional.

And while pundits tie themselves in knots explaining away Antifa, real-world violence has spilled onto the streets — this time in Dallas, where an armed sniper opened fire on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility. The shooter, perched on a rooftop, targeted both the ICE building and a detainee transport van.

The toll was grim: three detainees shot, two of them killed, the third in critical condition. The attacker ultimately turned his weapon on himself. Shell casings marked “Anti-ICE” were recovered at the scene, confirming what DHS later called “an attack on ICE law enforcement.”

This wasn’t just another crime in a major city. It was a politically motivated assault on federal officers and detainees, the latest in what DHS Secretary Kristi Noem described as “unprecedented violence” against ICE. Her statement was unambiguous: this wave of hatred toward immigration enforcement must stop.

Vice President JD Vance echoed the call, linking the violence directly to the obsessive vilification of ICE agents. “The obsessive attack on law enforcement, particularly ICE, must stop,” Vance wrote, offering prayers for the victims and their families.

For now, officials confirm that no ICE agents were hit, though detainees bore the brunt of the violence. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons stressed that the investigation is ongoing, as questions swirl about how the shooter gained access to the rooftop position and whether he acted alone.

As Marlow highlighted, the Left’s evasions about Antifa and its refusal to take responsibility for the climate of hostility it fuels are part of the same pattern. When you deny the existence of extremist groups while excusing their behavior, you invite chaos.

And when federal agencies tasked with protecting Americans are demonized as oppressors, it’s only a matter of time before someone decides to pick up a rifle and act on the message.

Dallas was the result. Unless something changes, it won’t be the last.
