Let’s not mince words here — House Democrats just introduced a resolution that would protect terrorists, and they did it under the guise of “limiting presidential power.” But if you read the fine print — and we did — what this resolution actually does is tell President Donald Trump that he cannot use U.S. armed forces to engage in hostilities with any terrorist group in the Western Hemisphere unless Congress gives him permission first.
Let’s repeat that: Any presidentially designated terrorist organization operating in our own hemisphere — the same hemisphere that includes Mexican drug cartels, Venezuelan narco-terrorist groups, and transnational gangs like MS-13 — would be effectively off-limits unless Congress passes a formal authorization first.
House Democrats introduced a resolution to force the U.S. military to stand down against designated terrorist organizations.

Which raises the obvious question: Why would anyone want to shield narco-terrorist networks from targeted U.S. strikes?
It’s not just weak policy — it’s reckless. And make no mistake: this resolution is a direct response to the Trump administration’s successful and fully legal campaign to eliminate drug-smuggling boats operated by terrorist-linked cartels off the Venezuelan coast, known as Operation Southern Spear.
Just in case you were wondering whose side @TheDemocrats are on.

Trump’s team — including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth — have made it clear: the strikes are lawful, precise, and grounded in solid intelligence. Republican Rep. Tim Burchett confirmed as much after being briefed. These operations aren’t random acts of aggression — they’re national security priorities aimed at stopping drugs, weapons, and human trafficking at the source.
But the Left doesn’t see it that way. They’re more concerned with who gets to designate the terrorists — because if Trump is the one doing it, they want the military to stand down. Think about that. They’re willing to tie the President’s hands — even if it means letting terrorists operate freely in our hemisphere — just because they despise Donald Trump.
FYI any bill which violates the US Constitution on its face (protecting the security of the borders of the US against foreign powers who hate the US) directly violates the Constitution and is automatically null and void according to Marbury v Madison.

That’s not policy. That’s sabotage.
And it tells you everything you need to know about the modern Democratic Party. They’re more worried about “overreach” from Trump than they are about fentanyl, child trafficking, cartel violence, and the systemic destabilization of Latin American countries by armed drug militias. They’ll scream “war crimes” when narco boats get blown out of the water, but not a word when those same boats are funneling poison into American communities.
The Democrats in our country are trying to do exactly what the leadership all throughout Europe is doing. Weakening their nation, allowing foreign invaders in to take over and destroy their nations. This is why we need unity in the Republican Party and the conservative movement.

You can’t make this up. A party that claims to stand for safety, justice, and human rights is now offering de facto protection to criminal organizations that behead journalists, enslave women and children, and fund terror cells — simply because they don’t like who’s calling the shots.
If House Democrats want to own this resolution, let them. Let them explain to the American people why they think Trump should ask for permission before taking out terrorist operatives just a few hundred miles off our coastline. Let them defend their position while overdose deaths skyrocket and cartels embed themselves deeper into U.S. cities.
