DeSantis Issues Strong Statement After Tate Brothers Land

Well, here we go. Just when you thought Florida had enough on its plate dealing with illegal immigration, woke corporate nonsense, and a federal government that barely knows what day it is, now we’ve got this—Andrew Tate landing in Fort Lauderdale like he’s coming home from vacation. And, as Governor Ron DeSantis made very clear, Florida wasn’t exactly rolling out the red carpet.

Let’s be honest: if you asked people to list the top five names they don’t want showing up unannounced in their state, Andrew Tate would probably make the cut. This guy isn’t some misunderstood social media bad boy—he’s facing serious allegations of human trafficking, rape, and organized crime in Romania. And yet, somehow, he’s now walking around in the Sunshine State like he just got back from spring break.

And, in classic government fashion, nobody seems to know how this happened. DeSantis flat-out admitted he found out about it from the media—because apparently, the people in charge of monitoring international travel restrictions were too busy doing, well, whatever it is they do all day. So now Florida’s Attorney General James Uthmeier is scrambling to figure out whether the state has any legal authority to deal with this situation. Because Florida, unlike certain other states we could name (cough California cough), doesn’t exactly have a soft spot for human traffickers.

Let’s also talk about the fact that Romania—yes, Romania—had Tate on lockdown for over a year, and the second those travel restrictions get lifted, where does he go? Florida. Not Dubai, not London, not some remote island in the Pacific. Florida. The question is: why? Could it be that he thinks Florida will be more lenient? If so, someone needs to tell him he landed in DeSantis’ Florida, not whatever free-for-all fantasyland he might be imagining.

And, of course, because it’s 2025 and everything has to be political, the media wasted no time dragging President Trump into the story, with some outlets breathlessly reporting that his administration pushed Romania to let Tate travel. Trump, for his part, said he had no idea about any of this. But let’s be real—since when has the media needed facts to run with a story? The same people who spent years screaming about “Russia collusion” with zero evidence now want us to believe that Trump personally called up Romania to give Tate a passport stamp? Give me a break.

What’s even more shocking is that some people are bashing DeSantis for his statement.

Meanwhile, Ben Shapiro has already taken a flamethrower to Tate’s whole “alpha male” schtick, calling out his toxic nonsense for what it is. And say what you want about Shapiro—he doesn’t hold back when it comes to grifters trying to sell young men a lifestyle that’s as shallow as it is self-destructive.

The bottom line is this: Florida is not a dumping ground for international fugitives or social media con artists who think they can outrun the law. And if Tate really believes he’s found a safe haven, he might want to think again. Because if there’s any way Florida can get rid of him, you can bet DeSantis will make it happen.
