YouTuber Scuba Diving Team Discovers Body Of Missing Teen From California After 2 Week Search

In an announcement made this past Sunday, one volunteer search-and-rescue SCUBA team based out of Oregon stated that they had officially found the body of Kiely Rodni, a 16-year-old California teen that has been missing since back on the 6th of August. Rodni was officially last seen at the pack in the area of Truckee California, and others at the party made reports that she had been seen drinking at the party.

With a following on YouTube that has reached millions, Adventures with Purpose now travel all over the United States in order to assist families in solving various cold cases involving missing loved ones. They took part in the search for Rodni this past Saturday as many local police officials started to officially scale back their search efforts after a period of over two weeks with absolutely no leads as to her location.

As part of a post upload on Sunday, the team claimed that they had finally found the missing teen in a submerged vehicle.

“WE JUST FOUND KIELY RODNI…,” exclaimed the caption of the post. “Car is upside down in only 14′ of water. We have CONFIRMED Kiely is inside. Family Notified. Law Enforcement on their way.”

“We will be on scene the rest of the day, will have a live stream tomorrow, and will make an announcement as to what time later this afternoon,” the post stated. “Thank you everyone for your support and donations in getting us here to help Kiely and her family.”

“When you miss a loved one or a friend … and you don’t know, it’s a nightmare,” stated the team leader of Adventures with Purpose, Doug Bishop. “What we provide is those answers, when we’re able to. That’s what we’re hoping to do in this case.”

Bishop went on to state that the YouTube following of the group had pushed them in the direction of this case in particular, going on to say, “With 15 to 20 million viewers per month, there was an overwhelming demand, not only by multiple different agencies, all of our supporters.

They made sure to dive across several different areas in and around the Boca Reservoir and Donner Lake, reportedly skipping over a few different ponds that would not have been deep enough to fully submerge Rodni’s vehicle.

“It’s tough,” claimed Bishop as they started their targeted search. “I don’t want to find her. If she’s here and something has happened to her, I do. I want to be able to provide the family and this community answers so they can properly lay her to rest.”
