Weingarten Joins The WEF

Randi Weingarten isn’t the only reason American public schools are failing — but she’s emblematic of everything that’s gone wrong.

As head of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the smaller but more politically potent of the two big teachers’ unions, Weingarten has mastered the dark art of using children’s education as leverage. Remember COVID? She kept schools closed until the Biden administration shoveled tens of billions of taxpayer dollars into the system. It wasn’t about science — it was about power. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky had Weingarten on speed dial, and the AFT dictated the terms of reopening. And parents paid the price while their kids languished behind screens.

Now she’s moved on to an even bigger project: teaming up with the World Economic Forum to craft America’s next curriculum. Yes, that WEF — the same globalist outfit famous for its “you’ll own nothing and be happy” mantra, cozying up to China, and pushing radical green schemes that crush industry. These are the people Weingarten wants shaping what your kids learn in school. If you thought Common Core was bad, this is the educational equivalent of “hold my beer.”

The sales pitch? Weingarten claims this partnership will lead to “good jobs and solid careers in US manufacturing.” But anyone who’s followed the WEF’s playbook knows that’s laughable. This is an organization that champions policies undermining American competitiveness while promoting authoritarian regimes as models for governance.

And this is what’s so insidious: For 50 years, the left has used education as a vehicle for cultural revolution, embedding its ideology in schools and universities while selling it as “justice” and “progress.” Parents still think schools are about math, reading, and civics. In reality, they’ve become laboratories for radical social engineering. Partnering with the WEF — an entity that openly pines for a top-down, centralized world order — is just the next step in a decades-long strategy.

Even FDR, the patron saint of progressivism, understood the danger of public employee unions. They pit government workers against the citizens they serve. And now? They’re not just bleeding taxpayers dry. They’re actively undermining the nation.

Weingarten’s AFT and the teachers’ unions writ large have shown us what they are: hostage-takers. They shut down schools, extorted billions, and now want to rewrite the curriculum alongside the most anti-American globalists on the planet.
