Violent Attack Leaves Rubio Campaign Canvasser Seriously Injured All Over Wearing DeSantis Hat & Rubio Shirt

Late Sunday evening, one campaign canvasser representing Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) was reportedly attacked and suffered extremely serious injuries as they knocked on doors, explained the campaign for the Senator in a release issued Monday evening.

“Last night one of our canvassers wearing my T-shirt and a DeSantis hat was brutally attacked by 4 animals who told him Republicans weren’t allowed in their neighborhood in Hialeah, Florida,” highlighted Rubio’s campaign via social media.

“He suffered internal bleeding, a broken jaw & will need facial reconstructive surgery,” explained the post from the campaign.

The post also included a series of pictures of the young canvasser that was assaulted which should just how badly he had been beaten, and that his eyes were fully swollen shut.

In the photo, the young man was being quickly ushered away in an ambulance.

Hialeah Sgt. Jose Torres claimed that the victim in question, a still unidentified 27-year-old, was hit “multiple times in the face and the head causing the injuries.” Torres explained that the ordeal allegedly kicked off in the wake of the victim attempting to hand out a series of fliers throughout the area and being told he was not allowed to be in the area. Directly after, he was allegedly rushed and attacked by 25-year-old Javier Lopez.

“I can tell you this: political violence should not be tolerated by anyone,” stated Rubio. “Our side or their side, we don’t tolerate political violence. In this country, we decide who governs not by street mobs, we decide who governs at the ballot box.”

This alleged assault takes place just after another man from North Dakota fully admitted to fatally striking a teen with his vehicle just last month in the wake of a “political argument.” The man loudly accused the young teen of being a “Republican extremist.”

Republican Gubernatorial candidate Mark Ronchetti claimed this past month that he received a call from his wife concerning someone who came by their home and “shot out the windows on our garage” with pellets.

Additionally, another pair of canvassers representing Texas Governor Greg Abbott was also attacked late last month as they were trying to knock on doors. Area law enforcement officials were able to arrest the subject and slammed them with a charge of criminal mischief.

All of these various attacks seem to stem from a recent speech issued by President Joe Biden (D) in which he heavily demonized Republicans, stating that “MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”
