Trafficking Investigation Into Andrew Tate Results In Seizure Of Insane Amounts Of Money

Officials with Romanian law enforcement have reportedly taken multiple millions of dollars worth of assets which has been sitting inside of a Bucharest compound belonging to former kickboxer and social media influencer Andrew Tate in the wake of an extended sex trafficking investigation surrounding him.

Romania’s National Agency for the Administration of Seized Assets explained publically that it officially seized well over a dozen extremely high-end vehicles, which included a BMW, an Aston Martin, a Lamborghini, a Rolls-Royce, a Ferrari, a Porsche, and a Mercedes-Benz.

The government office also managed to secure just over a dozen luxury watches and other high-value assets which totaled out to just over $4 million USD.

Tate has recently been taken into custody with his brother Tristan Tate and another two people as part of an investigation into organized crime, rape, and human trafficking.

“The four suspects … appear to have created an organized crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialized websites for a cost,” explained prosecutors. “They would have gained important sums of money.”

It was alleged by Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) that the group of four detained suspects were the leaders of a criminal enterprise that stretched across both Europe and into the U.S.

Police officials allege that the group of suspects routinely tricked their victims into “believing that they intended to enter into a marriage/cohabitation relationship” and were then subjected to “physical violence and mental coercion’ and were ‘sexually exploited by group members by forcing them to perform pornographic demonstrations […] for the purpose of producing and disseminating through social media platforms,” explained a report from the Daily Mail.

Despite the two events being seemingly unrelated, Tate ended up being taken into custody directly after he took part in a fight on Twitter against far-left climate activist Greta Thunberg.

Last month, Tate tagged Thunberg in a statement concerning his large collection of cars.

“Hello @GretaThunberg,” explained Tate. “I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start. Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions.”

“Yes, please do enlighten me,” shot back Thunberg. “Email me at smalld***[email protected]
