Social Media Post About Groceries Goes Viral

You know, I like to joke that Democrats could trip over a rake in an empty parking lot — but at this point, it’s just an observation. As low as they can go in approval, they always find a new basement level.

Take the latest Quinnipiac poll. Congressional Democrats are now clocking in at a measly 19% approval. Nineteen. That’s not just bad; that’s historically bad. It’s the lowest rating Quinnipiac has recorded since they started tracking this question in 2009. For context, that’s even lower than the 21% they had in March — which, you may recall, prompted CNN’s Harry Enten to quip, “You just can’t get lower than these numbers.” Well, Harry, apparently you can.

And the best part? They managed to dunk on themselves in spectacular fashion. On Thursday, the official “Democrats” X account posted a graph meant to slam Trump with the caption “Trump’s America.” But here’s the rub — the numbers they posted accidentally made Trump look good. Like, really good. Stable inflation, better performance than Biden, the whole nine yards. It was supposed to be an attack, but it played like a campaign ad for Trump’s reelection.

The post racked up over three million views before someone with more than two functioning brain cells finally realized the mistake and hit delete. But by then? The damage was done. Trump’s Rapid Response team had a field day. Conservatives mocked it into the stratosphere. Even White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson piled on, wondering if anyone on Team Blue could read a graph.

And that’s the point, isn’t it? These aren’t just harmless social media blunders. They’re a reflection of how clueless this party has been on the economy. Remember when they told us inflation was “transitory”? Then it shot to 9% while Biden shrugged, denied it, and blamed literally everyone else. The buck didn’t stop with Joe — it went flying clean over his head.

Meanwhile, Trump inherited that mess, and his numbers are already beating expectations. The Democrats’ graph only underscored it.
