Extreme-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) recently spoke out about the top news story in the country from last week — the massive immigration crisis that has kicked off under the leadership of Old Uncle Joe — by claiming that the U.S. has “more than enough” resources and money to just take care of everyone.
The border crisis from ended up the most visible issue in the news last week in the wake of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) sending a group of 50 illegal migrants over to Martha’s Vineyard, which is a very wealthy island just off the coast of Massachusetts know to be home to many affluent liberals.
“What a lot of Republican politicians fail to understand is that not everyone shares their zero-sum, scarcity mindset,” stated AOC via a social media post. “Many of us understand that immigrants and refugees are a blessing. They have so much to offer our country, & much of our growth as a nation is because of them.”
Is she kidding? Her entire collectivist economic worldview is built on a "zero-sum, scarcity mindset" — taking from one group and giving to another to create fairness. https://t.co/fmHrHKNpFt

When she found herself under fire on social media for asking Abbott and DeSantis to send even more of these illegal immigrants into her particular district, New York’s 14th Congressional District, AOC shot back her answer by stating that the governors have already sent a few her way and that those in her city have more than the required resources to “help states like Florida,” despite the fact that 1.5 million people, including a total of about 25% of their children, are struggling to continue to feed themselves.
“Believe it or not the United States is the wealthiest nation in the world and we have more than enough to care for everyone,” stated Ocasio-Cortez. “Instead of worshipping billionaires, if you try valuing your neighbors enough to fight for them then we can all have a better life, together.”
It was reported by the Treasury Department this past Thursday that the U.S. National Debt was expressed to the penny to be $30,886,835,217,014.00.
The DeSantis office officially confirmed last week that the governor chartered and sent a pair of planes loaded with illegal immigrants over to Martha’s Vineyard as part of “the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations.”
“States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country’ by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden Administration’s open border policies,” stated his office. “In this past legislative session the Florida Legislature appropriated $12 million to implement a program to facilitate the transport of illegal immigrants from this state consistent with federal law.”
