New Jersey Governor Exposes The Hidden Glitch Causing Illegal Voting Surge

Here is the shocking truth that many are ignoring. New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill admitted that hundreds of non-citizens cast illegal ballots in her state since 2023. This is not a rumor or a conspiracy theory. It is a fact she confirmed herself on Tuesday. The numbers are staggering and they raise serious questions about our election security.

The Hidden Software Glitch

So how did this happen? It started with a computer error at the state Motor Vehicle Commission. Between June 2023 and June 2024, a software screwup caused chaos. According to reports, the glitch automatically registered around 6,600 non-Americans to vote. These people applied for driver’s licenses or ID cards. They answered “no” when asked if they were citizens. Yet the system registered them anyway. More than 6,000 non-citizens were wrongly added to the voter rolls.

Gov. Sherrill stated that approximately 400 non-citizens actually cast ballots illegally. She admitted these figures regarding registration and voting on Tuesday. The New York Post reported that the issue stemmed from this specific software error. This was not a planned change. It was a mistake that let ineligible people into the system. The state failed to check the names before the votes were counted.

A Governor’s Contradictory Words

What makes this story even more frustrating is the Governor’s reaction. While she admitted her state had hundreds of illegal votes, she attacked President Trump. She claimed President Trump “has zero credibility on the issue of election integrity.” Gov. Sherrill went further in her statements. She said, “I think that Donald Trump has done more to undermine free elections in this country than certainly anyone in my lifetime, including [Russian President] Vladimir Putin.”

She dismissed the larger problem while admitting her own state’s failure. President Trump claimed nearly 250,000 non-citizens were registered to vote in California, New Jersey, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. He made this claim during a prime-time address last week. He also said up to 35,152 non-citizens were enrolled to vote in New Jersey alone. Gov. Sherrill confirmed she received a letter from the Department of Homeland Security quoting that figure. Yet she refused to accept the data without proof.

Her office asked for evidence but got nothing back. Gov. Sherrill stated, “we have asked them for any evidence of this, where they got that number, who this is. We’ve received nothing back yet.” This is a strange stance. She admits 400 illegal votes happened in her state due to a glitch. But she rejects a letter from the federal government about a much larger number. It seems she wants to ignore the bigger picture.
