A top House committee on Monday questioned longtime Hunter Biden friend and former fellow Burisma board member, Devon Archer, regarding President Obama’s son’s business dealings while Vice President Biden was in office.
Archer, who currently faces up to one year in prison over a $60 million bond fraud, ignored reporters as he entered the O’Neill House Office Building in Washington D.C. for the highly anticipatory interview.
The inquiry, chaired by House Oversight Committee, is looking to uncover any potential involvement by the President during his time as VP.
When asked for comment before being ushered away, Archer only smiled in response.
The efforts to garner Archer’s testimony date back to last year, when three of his previously scheduled deposition dates were rescheduled for “personal reasons.”
The situation has been further complicated after the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York requested U.S. District Judge Ronnie Abrams to reschedule Archer’s sentence for jail following a series of appeals.
At the same time, New York Post columnist Miranda Devine reported that sources close to the committee stated Archer planned to discuss how Hunter Biden would introduce his father to foreign investors and business partners.
The implications for the story have huge implications for both President Biden’s and the Republican’s hope to sway political points from the 2020 election loss. Thus making the news from this investigation more relevant than ever.
The potential answers to this inquiry may potentially help clarify how Mr. Biden became the Biden associated with the scandal, as well as if he was involved in Hunter’s Ukrainian activities.
The House Oversight Committee has yet to release a timeframe for when the investigation and Archer’s statements would be released are open to the public, as the implications of the findings could swing the entirety of the situation.
Thus, as we wait for the results of the interview, the public awaits the answers to the long-running questions plaguing Hunter Biden’s business dealings, and his relationship to his father, the President of the United States.
🚨ITS HAPPENING🚨
Biden’s de facto lawyer Rep. Daniel Goldman is visually shaken, sweaty and in PANIC after hearing Devon Archer’s testimony.
