Clooney Makes Announcement In Op-Ed

Hollywood mega Biden fundraiser has recenlty written an op-ed in the New York Times.

Actor and donor to Biden, George Clooney, has requested that Biden step down and not run for President in the upcoming term.

“Joe Biden is a hero; he saved democracy in 2020. We need him to do it again in 2024,” the actor wrote in an op-ed for the New York Times.

Clooney, who hosted a star-studded fundraiser for Biden in Los Angeles, said the person he saw there was not the candidate the world saw at last week’s presidential debate. “I love Joe Biden. As a senator. As a vice president and as president. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him. Believe in his character. Believe in his morals. In the last four years, he’s won many of the battles he’s faced,” Clooney wrote.

“But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can. It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe ‘big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate,” he said.

Remember just recently, Clooney, along with actress Julia Roberts and former President Barack Obama, helped raise $30 million for Biden’s campaign that night.

But the fundraiser was shadowed with questions after a video appeared to show Obama having to guide Biden off stage.

Clooney’s comments have sparked intense debate within the Democratic Party and beyond. Some see it as a heartfelt plea from a longtime supporter who cares deeply about Biden’s legacy and the future of the country. Others interpret it as a sign of deeper concerns about Biden’s ability to lead the party to victory in the 2024 election.

“Joe Biden has accomplished more in four years than many presidents do in eight,” Clooney wrote. “But running a presidential campaign is grueling, and leading a nation through turbulent times requires boundless energy and sharpness. I believe it’s time for a new generation of leaders to take the torch.”

Well, Clooney got one thing right: I don’t think any President has tailspun out of control faster than Joe. Additionally, it was amazing (total sarcasm) to see how fast he destroy the country’s economy.

The op-ed was released after Pelosi made some interesting comments about Biden.

Pelosi said during an appearance on MSNBC, “I want him to do whatever he decides to do, and that’s the way it is. Whatever he decides, we go with. I think it’s really important, and I would hope everyone would join in, to let him deal with this NATO conference. This is a very big deal. 30 heads, over 30, heads of state are here. He is the host of it, and that means not just hosting, but that means orchestrating the discussion and setting the agenda, and he’s doing so magnificently.”

Keep in mind days before Biden called into “Morning Joe” and defied those that want him out.

“And I’ve said to everyone, let’s just hold off. Whatever you’re thinking, either tell someone privately, but you don’t have to put that out on the table until we see how we go this week,” she added.
