When Illinois Governor JB Pritzker signed legislation allowing non-citizens to serve as armed, sworn police officers, critics warned it would open the door to dangerous and absurd outcomes. This week, they were proven right in a case so astonishing it defies parody.
JUST IN: JB Pritzker’s Illinois allowed an ILLEGAL ALIEN to be an armed, sworn police officer and Border Commander Greg Bovino is FURIOUS

Radule Bojovic, a police officer in Hanover Park, Illinois, was arrested by the Department of Homeland Security — not for misconduct on the job, but for being an illegal alien. According to DHS, Bojovic overstayed a tourist visa by ten years. Yet somehow, despite violating federal law and having no legal right to remain in the country, he was hired, armed, and entrusted with the power to enforce Illinois law — even as he himself was breaking it.
This isn’t a paperwork error. It’s not some bureaucratic oversight. It’s the direct result of an ideological crusade from Illinois Democrats, led by Pritzker, to extend every privilege of citizenship — including law enforcement authority — to people who are not even legally present in the country.
I don’t know why they’re surprised they advertised on this months ago. They were going to hire illegals.

And make no mistake: this law, signed over two years ago, was controversial from the start. But Democrats brushed off concerns, portraying critics as xenophobic or alarmist. Now the consequences are playing out in real time.
Border Commander Greg Bovino didn’t mince words during his appearance on Fox News:
“It’s UNBELIEVABLE the state of Illinois and Gov. JB Pritzker would hand an ILLEGAL ALIEN a WEAPON!”
He’s right. This is a felony. Under federal law, illegal aliens are prohibited from possessing firearms. Yet here was Bojovic — carrying a weapon, wearing a badge, and wielding authority over citizens — thanks to a state government more interested in advancing a progressive immigration agenda than ensuring public safety.
Illinois needs to immediately sift through every police department and agency in the state and verify citizenship.

This is no longer a theoretical concern. This is what happens when ideology trumps common sense. When laws are rewritten to elevate illegal aliens over legal residents. When the rights and safety of actual citizens are sacrificed on the altar of political virtue signaling.
