Cover-Up: The Untold Story of Corruption

Former Pittsburgh US Attorney Scott Brady’s closed-door testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee last week revealed a troubling pattern of corruption allegations being covered up by the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) both before and after the 2020 election. Brady’s testimony, along with damning revelations from other confidential human sources, paints a chilling picture of how the Biden family’s potential criminal activities were protected and downplayed by those in power.

Brady’s testimony was part of an investigation launched by former Attorney General Bill Barr in January 2020. Barr wanted to vet the numerous allegations of corruption that had been flooding in from the FBI and US Attorney’s Offices around the country, including from President Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani. However, Brady soon found himself facing roadblocks and obstruction from the FBI and DOJ, with the FBI requiring an unprecedented 17-person sign-off before any requests could be approved.

Brady’s team also faced resistance from the Delaware US Attorney’s Office, which was already investigating Hunter Biden’s business dealings. Assistant US Attorney Lesley Wolf reportedly refused to cooperate with Brady’s team, claiming that any information from them was not credible because it came from Giuliani. Wolf even tipped off Hunter’s attorneys about a search warrant and barred investigators from pursuing leads that could implicate Joe Biden.

Brady was also met with resistance from the FBI when he tried to obtain their Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide. It took six months for Brady’s team to be informed about the existence of Hunter’s laptop, and when they requested information from the FBI database, it took additional months for any results to be provided.

Despite these challenges, Brady’s team was able to uncover a bombshell allegation from a trusted FBI confidential human source. The source claimed that Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, had paid Joe Biden and Hunter bribes of $5 million each to interfere in a Ukrainian prosecutor’s investigation.

However, this serious allegation was concealed from the very people who should have investigated it — the IRS and FBI criminal investigators working on the Hunter Biden case. In fact, Congressional testimony from IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley revealed that Wolf had intentionally withheld information about the bribery allegation, hindering their investigation.

Ultimately, it was discovered that the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force had intervened multiple times to discredit negative information about Hunter Biden as “foreign disinformation.” This led to numerous investigations into Hunter being shut down, despite the credible evidence and allegations against him.

The revelations from Brady’s testimony and Shapley’s testimony have raised serious questions about the integrity of the FBI and DOJ and their handling of the Biden family’s potential corruption. They also highlight the need for further investigation and accountability, particularly as House Republicans continue to push for answers and transparency. As Senator Chuck Grassley stated in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, “our Republic cannot survive such a political infection.”
